Lisa Perotti-Brown (98pts)
The 2021 Viader Proprietary Red Blend is composed of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, after a little swirling, notes of juicy blackberries, cassis, and ripe blackberries leap from the glass, followed by hints of mocha, wild sage, crushed rocks, and tapenade. The medium to full-bodied palate is very bright and shimmery, delivering a solid frame of firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and minerally. Gorgeous!" Drink 2026-2051

A stunning blend of 71%
Cabernet Sauvignon with the remainder Cabernet Franc, this is a world-class
wine that needs about two hours in the decanter to get going. Once aroused,
this offers a melange of anise, tobacco leaf, dark florals and dense dark fruits
with a graphite edge on the nose. The palate is velvety and plush with a firm
tannic and acid backbone. Layers of gorgeous black and blue fruits greet you
with espresso grounds, loam/rocky soils and shades of Middle Eastern spices.
While decadent and heady in its youth, this can benefit from some time in the
cellar. Try to resist this beauty for another year or so. Drink 2025-2050

with a medium body with plush tannins. Attractive ripe fruit and chocolate with
creamy berries and a powdery texture. Cedary finish. Creamy texture with a
slightly chewy end. 71% cabernet sauvignon and 29% cabernet franc. Better from
