"V" my Valentine: $1 SHIPPING thru 2/28/25*
TASTING NOTES: A
deep, dark and inky plum colored wine, layered with a complex bouquet of spicy
dark fruit, dried herbs and mouth-watering baking spices. A healthy dose of dried
tobacco leaf and shaved chocolate on the finish. Concentrated dark black fruits
with great complexity. A full-bodied wine with a broad mouthfeel and the
classic rock-solid tannin profile of the 2021 vintage. Should have a very long life and will benefit
from a few years in the cellar. Decant when drinking over the next 5-7 years or
tuck this beauty away in the back of the cellar and enjoy over the next 15+
years.

53% Petit Verdot and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon

Jeb Dunnuck: Checking in as 53% Petit Verdot and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 Petit Verdot V offers a deeper plum hue as well as a complex bouquet of spiced black fruits, leafy herbs, spicy oak, and leather-like nuances. I love its complexity, its full-bodied, has a broad mouthfeel, and no shortage of tannins. This is always such an interesting wine to taste, and the 2021 shows the concentrated, rich, structured style of the vintage. it should have 15 years or more of overall longevity.
