TASTING NOTES:
Deep
garnet-purple in color, dark, structured, and savory. Crème de cassis, dark cherry, black current, fig and plum are layered with coffee, licorice,
and dried herbs. Medium-full in body but decidedly firm, it shows grainy,
youthful tannins and a lively, earthy undercurrent. The finish is long and
grounded, with lingering herbal and dark-fruit notes. Complex and yet incredibly balanced. Decant
when drinking over the next 5 years or tuck it away in the cellar and enjoy
over the next 15 years.
